About the Role
Insuresage Risk Consultants is looking to appoint a highly skilled and commercially astute
Treaty & Facultative Reinsurance Broker to join our expanding team.
This role is suited to a seasoned professional with a strong technical foundation and proven
market relationships, who can structure, place, and manage both treaty and facultative
reinsurance programmes across diverse classes of business. You will engage with leading
regional and international reinsurers while delivering optimal risk transfer solutions to
clients.
Key Responsibilities
Structure and place proportional and non-proportional treaty programmes
Manage facultative reinsurance placements end-to-end
Prepare high-quality submissions, slips, and placement documentation
Negotiate competitive terms and conditions with reinsurers
Analyse portfolios, including loss trends, exposure, and renewal strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international markets
Provide strategic input on programme design and client servicing
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years’ experience in treaty and/or facultative reinsurance broking
Strong technical, analytical, and structuring capabilities
Established relationships with regional and international reinsurers
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field
(Required)
Professional designations such as FIISA, ACII, ARe, COP, or equivalent (Advantageous)
